transportation

Merida is the capital of the Yucatan Peninsula.
As such, it is a major center for the residents of the area and as mentioned for many travelers.
There are several ways to get to the city:

Flights:

Merida has an airport but is less accessible for international flights, so you must first land in one of the main cities - Cancun or Mexico City. And from there take another domestic flight.
Main recommended route - landing in Cancun and a direct bus to Rebellion.

: Buses

Buses in Mexico are an efficient and useful means of transportation.
As a whole the whole of Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula in particular is networked with excellent bus infrastructure.
We recommend ADO - a reliable and quality company. You can buy tickets through their website.

Communication and data

In Mexico in general and Rebellion in particular, there is high accessibility to WiFi in most hostels and guest houses and of course in the Chabad house.
However many travelers choose to buy a local SIM, as a package and SIM should not cost you too much.
The most recommended company is TelCel but other companies like tigo, claro do the work as well.
A local SIM will cost you significantly less than a package from the country, so it is much more profitable for you to do so.

However, it is important to maintain basic safety rules.
Do not go with excessive amounts of money on the street, and keep your important documents in a safe and locked place.
